Hello All. I recently purchased a computer with an Ivy bridge cpu (3770k) and I want to over clock it to 4.4ghz. My motherboard's BIOS has an OC tuner feature which I used to OC to 4.1ghz, which I then manually changed to 4.2ghz. I made no changes to voltage and I got 1.068v on idle at 24 degrees and 1.248v at 100% load at around 60 degrees. I understand that this is probably not the best voltage setting and that I can probably do better even at 4.4ghz. I have never over clocked a cpu, or anything else before and I was hoping someone could explain to me the process for which I need to change the voltage to get to 4.4ghz, and how voltage offset works.

I also have a h80i cooler which is adequate enough for the job.

If I used offsets would I be using negative or positive adjustments to the voltage and by how much approximately? I want to reach a max of 1.210v at 4.4ghz yet have 0.980-1.050v at idle.
