AFAIK, there's no "lockout" in a homegroup. On the laptop that is working fine, get the homegroup password. Use that on the one that is "locked out" to join the homegroup over again.

That is not the case I had no issue joining the home group on both laptops and leaving the home group, some how though after leaving the home group was the last thing I did on the laptop I came home and was locked out of the laptop completely. It said Everest locked me out, but its not from them, my neighbor brought it from best buy
Everest? If that is some kind of security package, you'll need to ask your neighbor. Hacking or cracking assistance is not available on these forums.
sry I meant Everest University, I think it got a virus or something like that, that made it be locked out by Everest university. according to them they only lock out computers they give people for doing their school online that stop paying for it. Our neighbor bought it at bestbuy n his kid step on it broke the screen, so we rocked out for bout a year n half on a external monitor. Then idk what happen. Don't matter now though my boyfriend got made I was still trying to fix it and smashed it. So now there is no fixing it but thank you for your help anyways.
