which card is better for these games?

Two options I have is evga gtx 670 and sapphire 7970

Games I intend to play :
Fifa series
Battlefield series
Call of duty series
LOL
Nba series
Assasins Creed series
Devil may cry series
Crysis series
Gta series
Etc

Resolution :
1080p on a 24 inch monitor

Note: I dont intend to overclock

Your link is to an article a year old!! With driver updates, most anyone would recommend a 7970 over a gtx670. The 7970 is faster now, and with a little OC would surpass a GTX680.

7970 and if you get GHz edition than I would take it over 680. Still 7970 is better than 670 in most cases (670 is still awesome card).

okay, not meaning to offend in my original post. was just pointing out that the data is ancient. With regard to the additional post. Ill admit the 670 will be faster in some games as would the 7970 in others.

i'm sure we can fire benchies at each other all day. The point being 'hands down' is not very accurate! They trade blows, and the 7970 wins out more often.

You're looking at the more expensive 7970 GHz edition. The normal 7970 and GTX 670 are exactly the same across the series of 18 benchmarks.

But good choice! Go with SC version of EVGA if you can
