Help with temp files

Ok, so I have a problem i have 6.75 Gbs worth of storage tied up in TEMP files. I have tried to use disk cleanup but it doesn't delete anything can someone please help me with the issue and educate me on how to avoid this in the future.

getting error message when you try to delete the temp files? where are the files? try ccleaner?

No error message just doesn't delete them. i would look to tell you but i'm on another computer! is CCleaner any good though? and i read that if you delete temp files and programs are still using them it can be detrimental to your PC.

reboot the pc then try deleting it again.
