which android emulator to choose?

Hello all,

I a'm new to android and i like to try some android apps first on my computer through an android emulator for windows 7,before i buy an android phone.Only question is:which emulator should i use?Does anybody know a simple android emulator where i can try some android apps/games on, please?

update:my problem is solved,please remove this thread!!!i do not find the option to do it by myself.

You can go "The King's route" and install official Android SDK, which comes with an emulator among other stuff (you probably don't need full SDK). http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

But you have to ask yourself a question: Where are you getting these apps from? Google Play (the "official" market)?
If you have Amazon account - there's a market as well, and some of the apps can be tried.

Sure you can - as long as you master the art of side-loading files into the emulator

DropBox is your friend!
In order to have access to the Market/Play - make sure you configure Google image, not generic one
