How bad will the bottleneck be?

An athlon x4 640 and a hd 7790.
That's the best cpu I can get atm with my mobo.
I was either going to get this or an a10 5800k and just get a whole new mobo as they would be about the same price.
Which would be better?
Also, how would each of these perform in Skyrim, because that's the main game I will be playing?
Thanks!

My budget is around 235$ I'm buying at Newegg and I'm recycling my mobo(unless theres a cpu that's that much better that's not compatible) hdd and part of my ram.
I already have a 500w psu and 2gb of ram picked out so that takes away 50$(Newegg discounts FTW)
The 7790 is pretty much set in stone unless an apu will be around that performance for less.
So that leaves me with about 75$ for a cpu, but I can maybe go up to 100$ for it. My mobo is compatible with:
Socket type: AM3
TDP: 95 watt
AMD Phenom II X4 9xx/9xxe/8xx Quad-Core (Deneb)
AMD Phenom II X3 7xx/7xxe Triple-Core (Heka)
AMD Phenom II X2 5xx (Callisto)
AMD II Athlon X4 6xx/6xxe (Propus)
AMD II Athlon X3 4xx/4xxe (Rana)
AMD II Athlon X2 2xx/2xxe (Regor)
AMD Sempron 1xx (Sargas)

Oh, also note that that I'm underage so it's not like I can wait about a week and I can get something way better.

I need a PSU too and a stick of RAM, but I think the RAM can wait. The PSU will bring it to 280$ before rebates, and after it will be 245$. So that sounds good but how long do you think I'll be able to last with only 2gb of RAM? I was gonna get another 2gb stick but now that will put me over too much.
