I have read a lot about disk space reducing in windows but I saw a strange thing in my pc . when disk space in a partition was full it did not transfer any file and it was normal. but recently I had only 27mb space in d drive but after sometime it showed 260mb without deleting or moving any file. then few day back It showed only 600 mb space in c drive so when I was downloading a 200 mb file I thought of deleting exisitng file when download will be complete. but to my surprise when download completed instead of showing 400 mb free space (600 -200 of new file ) c drive disk space increased automatically to 2.5 gb. how it is possible. does window has inbuilt feature to increase space by deleting some files or shrinking their size. please tell. does this sudden increase is dangerous
