Hi I have an ASUS laptop running on Windows 8 64 bit with i5-3210M and nVidia 645M 2GB. I sometimes like to game on my laptop and i play games like Skyrim, COH, CSGO, Bioshock, Metro, etc. And they tend to run smoothly when I set them on medium to low quality. But recently, I think it is drivers or graphics card problem... My laptop keeps on getting warm when I am not even gaming and When I DO game I constantly get less than 10 fps. I have tried reinstalling drivers and deleting all nVidia drivers and install a new one but the problem is still here. I might have to take it to repair if nothing else works.

Maybe your GPU is too hot so it throttled down automatically.
Have you check your GPU temps?
