A few hours ago, i had decided to update my graphics card driver for my HP Pavilion and when the installation was over, my Dell monitor went blank and no image would appear. I shut down my computer and it powered off normally, and i turned it back on and the HP loading screen came up, but shortly after the screen turned black and the monitor said "entering power save mode" witch it only says when I shut off or put my computer in stand by. My computer is on and the fans are blowing and as far as i know it seems to be running normal besides the fact that it's not feeding my monitor an image after the HP logo goes away. Can anyone give me any insight or advice? It would be greatly appreciated. The graphics card that is currently in my computer is a AMD Radeon HD 7560D. Many thanks!

UM... Can you get into Safe Mode? If you can, go to the Device manager and uninstall the graphic card and restart. Now, let the system "Find the new hardware"

...Unless this is a costco special, if so chuck it and get one directly from the Mfg...

I bought it at best buy a few months ago but like i said. right after it boots up and the HP logo goes away the screen goes black so i guess there's no way to get it in safe mode :/

You will have to boot it into safe mode and remove the faulty driver, or attempt a system restore

Does it NOT have an OnBoard video port? IF it does, startup, go into the BIOS and change to the internal card, shut down, pull the AMD card, plug into the OnBoard and start into Safe Mode and unistall the AMD drivers ...

Sorry, but i'm not very smart when it comes to this kind of stuff with computers. how do i know if i have a "OnBoard video port". and i'm not quite sure what BIOS is either.

OnBoard video will be a connector like the one on the video card but up near the usb ports and such. It may have a black plastic cover over it.
