intel i5 question

Why would you do that? You'd have to get a non-K processor, but your motherboard doesn't support Vpro. You'd be much better off buying a K processor as it allows overclocking. If you want Vpro, then buy a Q77 chipset based motherboard like the Intel DQ77MK.

Obviously. 99% of people who bought an Intel Vpro CPU do that.
