i currently have these specs:
amd sempron 145 2.8 ghz
msi 760gm p33 mobo
2 gb ddr3 ram*1
amd radeon hd 5450 2gb powercolour edition
some 250W local psu.it worked for me for the last 2 years without any problems and is still running fine.
but now im gonna upgrade my pc.im gonna upgrade to this:
amd fx 6100 3.3ghz
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 Motherboard or ASUS M5A78L-M LX V2 Motherboard or Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard.
amd radeon hd 5450 2gb powercolour edition.
4gb ddr3 ram.
im thinking of getting Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU.will it be enough for my needs for hardcore gaming or is it ok if i get some other psu of 400-500W?

More about : good psu gaming

450W+ is more than enough. I would recommend a 550W in case you plan to upgrade that GPU later.

The last Gigabyte one that you posted.

P.S.: get a FX-6300 if you can afford it. The 61xx line is mediocre.

No chance. Games are mostly GPU-intensive, not CPU-intensive. But the CPU can bottleneck a GPU and vice-versa. Your HD 5450 is a very weak card.

What is your budget? And with your current card, it's almost unplayable. Though I forgot to ask, what is your monitor resolution?

1366*768 is the max resolution.im on a tight budget.currently i can afford only 210$ and i need it to buy the mobo, processor and psu.i cannot offord another gfx card.

Then try to stick another 2GB RAM in there.

No chance. But it'll be a better build. Then when you get more money, upgrade the GPU. Heck, the AMD A10-5800K APU can play better than your GPU. Probably go with that.

Try to get at least a HD 7770. I don't know stats for that card. There's really not much benchmarks for that card -- for good reasons. Anyway, it's near unplayable. Leave it at that.

For now, you can get that APU that I told you about.
