hi guys first time overclocking my gtx signature 2 edition from evga so far i have set the gpu clock offset to 200 and it is stable im able to play games with no problem i have even been able to run a few benchmarks with no problem.

now the issue is with mem clock offset everytime i try to raise it the game shuts off and it does not run properly so i take it as being that its not stable so i left it at zero.

but the gpu clock is still set at 200 mhz and all games run fine. so is it necessary to up the mem clock offset?

ive done some google checks and some people say it doesnt matter on gpus with gddr5 either everyone who overclocks this card usually overclocks that too

so someone please enlighten me is it necessary? does it affect the gpu clock in a negative way if i leave it at zero?

It shouldn't affect the performance of your card at 0 unless you're using very Vram heavy applications or games.... (like doing triple monitor set-up and etc) Overclocking the vram just increases the access bandwidth between the vram and the gpu (which is only useful when when there's heavy vram usage like i said before)
