So ever since I got an extra monitor and hooked it up to my graphics card, my idle temps have shot up to 77-80 degrees Celsius which is extreme. Temps while playing games are around 90-95 degrees(gaming on one monitor). My case has proper ventilation and in/out fans for good air flow. I'm even leaving my case open and there is no difference in temps.
When I unplug my second monitor, idle temp goes down to ~53 degrees. Even that, I think, is still quite high.
I've taken my vga out and removed any dust but there was barely any. Nothing in my PC is overclocked, or has ever been.
My specs:
i5 2500K
XFX 6970 2GB
Corsair TX850W
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM

I've circled the area where I plugged in my second monitor.
