Hello Everyone... I don't know if this is the right place to put this but here it is ...
I usually play games in my laptop, and it tends to get Overheat very quickly, So i bought a cooling pad and it didn't do much really, and i was advised to buy a Fan, so i managed to get a 12V Fan (Because i couldn't find a 5V for USB) And i put it ON TOP OF The laptop's keyboard and it Indeed Awesome, It reduced like 5Cº while playing games and 10Cº while idle, which totally is awesome, BUT i was worried about that, about putting the Fan ON my keyboard instead of under the laptop, So the questions are:
Is it a bad idea to put the fan ON the keyboard ?
(The air blows in a part of the laptop's screen), Is that Bad for the screen ?
It really worked well but i am a bit worried

This is where i put the fan : http://tinypic.com/r/9u9fe8/5

If you're willing to open the laptop up, then why not apply a can of compressed air to the far already in the laptop and the heatsinks. This will remove the dust and help keep temps down to a point where you won't need a fan to keep it cool. Just blow as much dust off the interior of the laptop as possible.

As for you question, I can't see why that would do any damage. As long as the fan isn't hitting anything (ie it is spinning freely) then you should be fine.
