CPU Ghz going up?

Hello, I just recently downloaded some software that monitors CPU temp etc.

I have an i5 3570k 3.4ghz and for some reason it is showing 3.6 on the software and will sometimes jump to 3.7 and 3.8.

Is this normal?

Any help appreciated.

It was probably clocked a bit higher in the factory. No CPU is at the exect core speed as it's written.
It should be no problem as long as your temps don't get too high

that means the cpu is using the turbo core and boosting over its default clock speed to max 3.8ghz

If you have turbo core enabled in your bios then its totally normal. When your only using 2 cores the other cores will downclock and upclock the 2 cores for better preformance.
