Both monitors use VGA with DVI adapter. 1st monitor working fine. Tried swapping adapters, didn't make any changes. Worked on previous card.
1000w PSU.
Ok, I just tried the 2nd monitor in the 1st slot. Said input was not supported. Does this mean I need a new monitor or a 2nd card to drive the monitor?

Think the resolution might not be supported. Going to try safe mode.
Could it be because I forced the resolution for my previous card?

It's probably because this card has only one DVI-I port. The other is DVI-D and doesn't support VGA connections.

Okay can I use a VGA to DVI-D adapter?

No, your card can only run one VGA monitor any others have to be digital.

I can use my main monitor on the DVI-D using a HDMI lead. But the 2nd monitor doesn't work in the DVI-I slot anyhow. I think the resolution isn't supported.

There are active DVI-D to VGA adapters, but either the quality is horrible or they are expensive.
