Hi I wanted to ask, I enjoy playing pc games such as Borderlands 2 and thing of that nature. And I'll play for a while the game will run perfectly and then it will start lagging for a minute or so. after that it goes back to normal for a short while and this recurs. I thought this was because of swap file and im wondering i have an alienware m17 with 16gb of ram so is the only way to fix this getting a ssd?

How is the system using that RAM? Look in Control Panel>System>Advanced and click on the top one of the three Settings buttons. Is it System Managed or preset. In the root of C:\ with Hidden Files showing, what size is pagefile.sys.
