I bought a new laptop (dell xps 15)
i got it with one 1THD wich installed windows 8 on it, and one blank 32gSSD that i installed windows 7 (64-bit) on it .
is there a way too manage dual boot or working on the two OS on the same time ?

Switching between the os without turning off my laptop will be a good solution (But also without loosing data and all softwares continue working and still active when i switch from OS to another )

Run win7 from a virtual machine in win8.

There is no way to work on both OS's at the same time, you'll have to dual boot by changing what hard drive you want to boot off in the BIOS at startup.

The only way is to run one of them in a virtual machine.

You can't run two independent OS's off two hard drives at the same time.

you can install a virtual machine manager like Microsoft Virtual PC or Oracle VirtualBox and run Windows 7 inside Windows 8.
