Is the XFX 7970 GHz a good choice?

You should get the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 or the ASUS P8Z77-V LK. Both are very capable boards.

Your i5 3570k will have no problem running along a 7970. It's hard to bottleneck any single GPU graphics card even on a couple year old CPU.

I think I'll get the one you suggested.

The following is what I'm getting:

Intel Core i5-3570K http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504
ASUS P8Z77-V LX LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131824
ASUS HD7970-DC2-3GD5 Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121560
Rosewill CAPSTONE Series CAPSTONE-750 750W Continuous @ 50°C http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1301327
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900)

Already have everything else. Does this seem okay and can I put the Processor and Graphics Card in the motherboard without any problem?

Looks good. Everything should fit in just fine.
