Num Lock Issue

Hello all :)

I have this rather annoying issue. I use a Razer Deathstalker keyboard and, due to being left handed I have rebound my Num Pad numbers to function as the normal 1-9 keys, as such I like to have Num Lock permanently set to off.

As such, I went into both my BIOS and Registry and set the 'InitialKeyboardIndicators' value to '0' in both 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER' and 'HKEY_USERS' and had no problems for months.

Recently however, (I'd say the past week or so) the value for the 'InitialKeyBoardIndicators' in 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER' resets to '2' after each login. Also, on one occasion I found a completely random set of digits, though I cannot recall what they are.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Conor

I don't think it is a problem with the keyboard, all I have done is effectively made the 'Num Lock' key a '0' key. and this works fine. Pressing the key indeed types '0' rather than activating/deactivating Num Lock. Hence I think it is a problem with my computer...

Any ideas?

I do know that Razer products can be customized and set to function what ever way you want. I have a razer mouse and speed pad and with the included software all the keys and buttons on both can be set to perform any function and even macros. With this software you can reprogram any and all keys on your keyboard. You can take the num-lock key and set it to 0 without going into the registry or bios.
