Here is a more detailed account of what I tried so far. I have 2 new Print heads (Hp. P/N CB326-3002) I installed Print head No1 along with all new Genuine HP Cartridges. 1) The Printer went through a onetime preparation procedure and failed on the alignment step, the printed alignment sheet black only. 2) Next I cleaned the print head, the printed output sheet was black only. 3) I printed a Print Quality sheet and the output sheet printed black only. 4) I Printed a Status report The Output sheet was also Black only, 14345 pages printed and 1210 borderless pages printed. 5) I printed a picture file and made sure that I checked best print quality and color printing in the 309 software, the output sheet came out with greyscale highlights but no color. I then installed Print head No2 went through the 5 previous steps with my second new print head and the result was the same. MY C309A PRINTER DOES NOT PRINT COLOR.
