First of all, a big thank you to anyone that takes their time to read this and help me out. It's trully appreciated. :)

Approximate Purchase Date: Preferably, still for this year. xD

Budget Range: I won't set a range cuz I would like to "hear" as many opinions as possible. Just please keep in mind that I am NOT an enthusiast BUT if I am to spend a good amount of cash on this build, it better last me, at least, another 7 years like my old computer - an HP Pavilion t770.dk Desktop.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Art programs (e.g.: Corel Painter, Photoshop, Autodesk SketchBook Pro), gaming, listening to alot of music, surfing the internet, watching movies occasionally, bad habbit of having alot of stuff opened at the same time.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Preferably one that could export components over to my country, keeping the warranty and the reliability of not damaging any component in the shipping cuz I'm not paying extra cash to send the item back in case it comes with a factory malfunction or damaged. For that I prefer paying the absurd prices my country is selling computer components at.

Country: Portugal.

Overclocking: No.

SLI or Crossfire: No.

Monitor Resolution: I have an old 17" HP Pavilion f1723 flat screen monitor (1280 x 1024 at 60 Hz, i think?) but has already 3 or 4 dead pixels on the right side, so I'm considering on getting a new monitor, preferably a 27".

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, mouse, speakers (My speakers: Logitech Z523 2.1 Speaker System White), webcam, mic, printer.

Parts Already Decided:

-CPU: i7-3970X.
-CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i.
-Motherboard: Asus P9X79-Pro.
-RAM: Corsair Vengeance Normal or Low Profile. (?)
-Hard Drive: WD Black/Blue or VelociRaptor. (?)
-Fans: Corsair Air Series.

Parts YET to Decide: Models suggestions needed.

-Graphic Card: NVIDIA;
-SSD: Intel (520), Kingston (hyperX; hyperX 3K), Samsung (840 Pro; 840; 830), OCZ (Vertex 450; Vertex 4; Vertex 3; Vector), Corsair (Force Series GS Red; Neutron Series GTX), Crucial (m4), Plextor (M5 Pro Xtreme; Plextor M5 Pro);
-PSU: Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, Enermax, Thermaltake;
-Optical drives: Absolutely no idea about brands for this one but I just want a normal reader/writter. NO Blue-Ray.
-Case: Thermaltake Level 10GT Snow Edition or the UGK Edition, Special Edition Corsair Graphite Series 600T Artic White Steel, Rosewill Thor V2-White Edition, Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Arctic White Steel, Corsair Carbide 500R White, Azza Genesis 9000, CM Storm Stryker, NZXT Phantom.
-Monitor: HP ZR2740w, Dell U2711, ASUS PB278Q, feel free to drop a few more names on this one too. Try keep the models from 17'' to 27'' if you can and keep in mind I'll be using it mainly for art purpose but also doing some gaming.
-Fan Controller: No idea of what to get to this one either, gimme some reliable brands and models. :)
-Battery Backup (UPS): Same thing for this one, brands and models needed.
-Dust Filters: Definetly need some of those, so where can i get them?
[strike]X-Motherboard: Asus P9X79;
I'm aiming for this board serie but I don't know which model to pick - the LE, Standard, Pro, Deluxe, WS or the E WS - I don't understand ANYTHING of the motherboard's specifications.[/strike]

Parts in Doubt: I don't know if any of these are really necessary but if you think they are, feel free to drop some suggestions as well.
-More 2.0 USB ports. (I guess this will depend on the case)
[strike]X-Card Reader;[/strike] (Scratched from the list).
[strike]X-Blue-Ray;[/strike] (Scratched from the list).
[strike]X-Sound Card;[/strike] (Scratched from the list).

Additional Comments:
-I'd like a WHITE case with good air flow.
-Dust filters would be lovely, I don't like to clean my room that often lol >w>';
-Cooling is an important thing for me on this build because the computer will be used daily, for either art programs or games online, for hours and hours straight, specially on summer, where temperatures here get extremely hot and I don't possess air conditioning to lower the environment temperature of my room.
-Keep in mind I'm going to upgrade from a computer that is almost 9 years old, so what you may consider noisy, slow, bad sound quality from the board and so on, might actually be the opposite to me. xD

-Motherboard: Asus P9X79;
Since your not going to overclock, grab the Pro, it has some bonus features you'll like, and youre not paying for features you wont use.
-Graphic Card: You'll like a single GTX680 or GTX670, depends on budget
-SSD: Samsung 840 is my favorite
-PSU: Seasonic x series for sure.
-Optical drives: Asus blue ray or DVD
-Case: How about the AZZA genesis 9000?
-Monitor: ASUS PB278Q.

Parts in Doubt:
-Fan controler; get one, youl thank me later
-Card Reader; if you use a camera often and use SD cards, get one.
-Sound Card; if you have a nice set of speakers, or a surround sound system, grab one.
-More 2.0 USB ports They sell brakets for 20$

First I'll start by thanking you for the great help. :)

Okay, so Asus P9X79-Pro motherboard then. I'll add the Fan controller to the list of suggestions need it and keep the Seasonic x PSU series in mind aswell. :)
On the cases I'm still very divided since there's so many choices, so the case and the Graphics Card will be the last thing for me to buy.
And the addition of 2.0 USB drive bay will also depend on how many the case I pick will come with.

-Graphic Card: You'll like a single GTX680 or GTX670, depends on budget.
Don't mind the budget, just tell me why one of those and not the GTX690? Something on the fans of both the GTX670 and GTX680 and all the plastic of them bothers me about their cooling capability.

-SSD: Samsung 840 is my favorite
Why does your choice fall upon Samsung 840? I confess myself a bit hesitant with your choice, I had a few bad experiences with Samsung. So why not, Corsair Force Series GS Red 480GB, a Crucial m4 256GB 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SATA 6Gb/s or a OCZ Vertex 3 or 4? I heard Intel were reliable in not loosing stuff from the disk if something happened to it.

-Optical drives: Asus blue ray or DVD
Why go for blue-ray? What are the advantages of having it.

-Monitor: ASUS PB278Q.
Is that choice because the HP monitor can't adjust the screen and the bright?

For the Parts in Doubt:
We'll scratch the [strike]Card Reader; [/strike] then and about the Sound Card, the speakers I own are Logitech Z523 2.1 Speaker System White. Not sure how good or bad they are compare to the newest things out there.

1. If budget is no issue to you, go for either the GTX690 or the GTX TITAN, the Titan uses less power, and basicly is a 690 that only uses one GPU instead of two on one PCB.

2.I recommend Samsung 840 series SSD's because they have the longest lifespan, and have the fastest read/write in their class. Many SSD reviews on Toms recommend the 840!

3. Buying a blue-ray drive will alow you to watch your blue-ray discs, watch 3D movies (provided you have a 3D monitor) and will alow you to burn Blue-ray

4. I always swear by ASUS monitors because they have the best screen quality, as far as I've ever seen, and they have an outstanding warranty service.
