hello, does anyone know anything about the VTX3D Black Edition Radeon HD 7870 (Tahiti LE)? is it worth getting for my new i5 3570k build, plus will the i5 be fast in the desktop also??

Radeon HD 7870 (Tahiti LE) is a superb performer for the money. I have no idea about VTX3D brand i think you may go with the sapphire HD7870XT model which offers better cooling and quieter fans and overall better build quality. Here is a link of showing Tahiti LE GPUs performance:
