Hello, I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU, and my dilema is between the GTX 650 TI and HD 7770, I've the E8400 CPU and the Enermax Liberty 400W.. which card would be better for me?

More about : gtx 650 suitable

Yes it will be better but look into the 650ti boost for an extra 20-30 dollars it is a far better card, night and day almost
The charts here on toms do not really show that but the performance difference would be very obvious

GTX 650 ti is WAY better than 7770. but your PSU may not be able to support it. you would need atleast 450watt PSU.

Alright, I get that the 650 TI is far better than the HD7770, but will my PC handle it? As the 650 TI requires a minimum 400W PSU.

@spentshells, the 650 TI Boost requires at least a 450W PSU.. I only have 400W

Step no. 1)Buy new PSU (cx500/cx600)
Step no. 2)Save money again
Step no. 3)Get Nvidia 650ti boost

Hope it helps!

First go for a power supply or buy another gpu like 6570,6670 if you want to stay with this one.

Well I just did a little historical research and from what I saw my PSU was able to handle GTX 460 which had a larger wattage consumption than the 650 TI.. I'd like to mention that this will probably the last upgrade to my PC before I buy a new one in the near future.. so I don't need any reserve space on my PSU

Go for 650 ti if you think that psu can handle no one can change your choice or mind so go for 650 ti and try your luck.
