Currently I have an old pentium that I am using with lightroom 4.4 and photoshop 6. I have 4 GB ram installed on a 32bit machine which only recognizes 3 GB with Windows 7 OS.

I want to build new PC for use to perform lightroom and photoshop editing and occasionally use it for video editing.

I own a Nikon D800 which generates approximately 30MB files for photos.
I went to Micro Center in Northern Virginia and took advantage of their bundle system to buy the following componenets:

Intel Core I7-3770K - $229.99
EVGA GTX660SC 2GB Graphics Card - $209.99
2 x Crucial 16 GB (2x8GB) DDR3-1600 RAM - $160 (total 32 GB)
Corsair 750W CXMOD 80+BRZ Power Supply - $84.99
Samsung E 120GB SSD 840 2.5" Drive - $79.99
Antec GX-700 ATX Case - $57.99

The salesman at the store recommended buying Asrock Z77 Extreme4 which because of the bundle I received for $84.99. For the total system cost of approximately $900 not including taxes.

I was planning on buying Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H 1155 ATX board which would have cost me ($104.99) only $20 additional but was told that it was not necessary.

After coming home when I started reviewing the Asrock Extreme4 motherboard, there were many reviews regarding build quality and thinness of motherboard. Is my concern justified? Any recommendations on motherboard for what I want to do? This is my first time building a PC so little concerned. Thanks.
