I am confused btween fx 8350 and i5 3570k
I will use my PC for gaming, browsing net, watching videos ,music.....
By comparing these 2 i found out that the fx only lags behind in single core performance.

But does it matter??
Just for making future secure i want to buy fx 8350 as it has more cores.

But will it be too slow on games and apps which require less cores??
How much difference will be there compared with i5-3570k??

I would honestly get the 3570 if you do the tasks you listed. It games better, and watching movies and videos doesn't need a lot of CPU power. Not only does it game better, but it uses less power as well. The rated max power for the 8350 is 125W while the 3570 is about 1/3rd less at 77W. If you were doing massive photoshop work or spending a lot of time transcoding video then the 8350 would be better for you. But if you are just gaming, browsing and watching stuff like most of us, the 3570 is the better chip.

AMD FX 8350 has horrible single-core performance and is highly dependent on applications being able to take advantage of as many cores as possible to get the FX 8350 to perform decently.

Tomshardware doesn't even recommend the FX 8350 in Best Gaming CPUs For The Money: May 2013

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-4.html - Here you can see the recommended CPUs.

i5-3570k beats the AMD FX 8350 in almost every gaming benchmark - If not every benchmark.

So, pretty much if you're not going to much other stuff than you posted, then the i5-3570k will rule the FX 8350.

Both CPUs will be viable in the future. i5-3570k will however be better as it is better for gaming, consumes less power and is a way cooler chip than FX 8350.
