Hello everybody,

I recently bought and assembled this configuration:

MB - Asus P9x79 pro
Processor - i7 3930k
RAM - Corsair ddr3 vengeance kit32Gb (CMZ32GX3M4X1866C10)
SSD - intel 520 series 120Gb
Graphic Card - PNY GTX670 XLR8 enthusiast edition 2Gb GDDR5
Cooler - Corsair H80i
PSU - Corsair CX750

I've assembled all in a Cooler Master CM690 Advanced

The problem is...
I'm struggling to have a stable system.. it shutdowns and restarts randomly.
I've tried a few things already:

Updated the bios from 3009 that came with the Motherboard and updated to 4009. (still shutdowns)
Changed graphic card to a gt610, it also shutdowns, and this is a very low budget Graphic card..
Remove all dims, clear cmos, inserted only one dimm, (Still shutdowns and restarts)

I'm guessing it could be the power supply, because I ear a small buzz inside the PSU..and because the system does not beep or fails, it just shuts down instantly, and restarts...
Don't know what to think,
could it be ram compatibilities...giving a sudden shutdown?
Sometimes it does not enter bios, it shuts down before and restarts

I'm hoping that someone has a similar configuration, and can help me..

Thanks in advance

^+1 Check your cpu temps. Try touching your cpu block when your system restarts.

With the slightly older H80 I managed to get air into the cpu block and the pump just couldn't circulate the water. The result was that the cpu would overheat and crash my system.

I would also remove any overclocks you have setup on it. I have basically the same system, with a better graphics card and a bigger psu, and found trying to manually overclock it, and keep it stable, a problem.

Thanks for the quick reply,

The processor temperature is around 27/30 celsius, and when I touch the plate around the processor it's not hot..
But I'll be monitoring that.
Thanks
