I am planning to get a new motherboard and I know that I have to move my hard drive to the new mobo. What happens to the games I had already bought on my computer, will they be deleted or be corrupted. I buy them on gamestop by the way. Also, will I have to do a reinstall of my OS because I don't have the disk for it anymore since it didn't come for my computer when I bought it.

Solution
If you replace your motherboard with a different one, you will need to reinstall the OS. If you had an OEM copy of the OS technically you should be buying a new OS too. (Not that anyone actually does that)

If its Windows 7 you can download the ISO and use your current key.

If you are replacing the mother board with the same exact model you should be able to just replace it and not do anything to the OS.
