Hi, I'm doing my first build and was wondering which one is better between these two.
GTX 660 or HD 7850.

I've done a little research and some says the GTX 660 is better but this 7850 is OC'd and the GTX 660 is at stocked speed, so I'm really unsure which one to buy and my budget cant go any higher than £150.

Would like a reason as to why X card is better than Y card. And I'm mainly using either of the two for gaming such as Tomb Raider, Crysis 3, Metro Last Night, etc.

Thanks in advance ʕ-•ᴥ•ʔ

Edit:
Addition info about the components I am using.

  • AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4Ghz
    Asrock 960GM-GS3 FX
    G. Skill Trident Series 4GB DDR3
    Corsair CXM 500W 80+
    Seagat Barracuda 500GB
    Aerocool 6th Element

the difference between these two cards is purely made by "fanboys", basicaly they perform very similar. The GTX 660 is a bit more expensive aswell. I purceased the 7850 recently (2 weeks) and it overclocks like hell. Basicaly i raised the slider in AMD overdrive from 860MHz stock to 1 GHz, runs smooth, it could go higher (probaly arround 1,1 Ghz with voltage tweaks witch will put it arround the 7870 / gtx 660ti stock performance)

Thanks crisan, question when I overclock the 7850 to 1,1 - 1,2Ghz, ofc as you put it I need to raise the voltage but will my setup allow it? cause my biggest concern would be my mobo, not sure if it can handle it cause I cant even overclock my CPU as it requires 125w and my mobo can only support up to 125w, thats where I'm worried.
