I recently bought all the components for my build and got a great deal on the RAM (8gb of it came free with my mobo), but my problem with it is that it's one 8gb stick rather than the usual 2x4gb sticks. Everyone says dual channel is better so should I just pick up another of the same 8gb stick soon so I can run them in dual channel, or will my performance in games not increase at all?
Will one 8gb stick or RAM hold me back for gaming?
