I posted yesterday looking for advice on a possible $600 gaming rig but I was able to increase my budget to $800. I can only go to $800 before shipping and taxes so I need help on possibly reducing costs below this point.

Approximate Purchase Date: Within the next few weeks, whenever I feel like I am getting the best performance for my money.

Budget Range: $800 or below

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming primarily

Country: Canada

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire:No

Additional Comments: I do need to purchase a $20 50ft long Ethernet cable since I am no longer using a laptop.

My Part list

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz Quad-Core @$179.99

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master RR-H101-22FK-RI 30.0 CFM Sleeve Bearing @$12.94

GPU: XFX Radeon HD 7850 1GB @$139.99

Case: Apex PC-389-C ATX Mid Tower @$29.99

PSU: Corsair 550W ATX12V @$59.99

Thanks in advance,

Wait for Haswell to grab a cheap 3570k, don't get XFX, their cooling is atrocious compared to the others, and get a Z77 board. Nothing else will let you overclock.
