AMD Phenom II X4 965 AM3 3.4Ghz 512KB 45NM 125W 4000MHZ

Gigabyte AMD 760G + SB710 Chipset DDR3 1333 AM3+ Micro ATX Motherboard

Corsair XMS3 8 GB (2 x 4GB) 1333 MHz PC3-10666 240-Pin DDR3 Memory Kit

because i put this system together and both the motherboard and graphics burned-out after about 7 minutes. i did not change any voltages or clocks.

that is probably a good idea i will look into getting one from EVGA.

but even with that is there any other problems that could happen

If things burn out, most of the time it'll be from a crappy PSU. If your motherboard fried, I would be very cautious about using it again.

Hi,

I am not sure of the motherboard model, but you might want to check that your 125W CPU doesn't exceed the boards maximum a lot of these boards were 95W and under. Also check out xomm's Post link above. EVGA are way overpriced just get whatever is on the list and on sale around 400-500W.

Good Luck

Kenteks apparently have a bad reputation, judging from a quick google search. Again, just look at the link I posted. A good PSU won't blow up in your face, and you can re-use it on future builds. EVGAs aren't bad, but sometimes they cost more than the best.

i looked up that modal on amazon and it usually worked out for the people that bought it. even though most of them bought a fault tester and they would also come DOA sometimes people also complained about having to alter there case
i think i could trust it but it obviously would explode if i tried to overclock anything.
i am just going to wait until my motherboard replacement gets delivered and then i will come back and say what happens.
