Is allocating more power the right move in this case? (GTX 560ti)

So I here are some of my relevant parts:

GPU: Gtx 560ti (not the 448 core version)
PSU: TX750 by Corsair
CPU: i5 2500k (3.3ghz)
RAM: 2 4gb sticks of Corsair Vengeance

So here are the symptoms I've been getting when attempting to use programs that are more graphics heavy like games:

-Blue screen of death
-random black screen and coming back(the display driver has crashed and recovered)
-random black screen and reboot
-Some graphical corruption

Basically I can launch a game, but at more intensive moments like when the level is changing or more things start moving, one (or more) of the above happens

It feels like I should apply more power to my graphics card, though I don't want to mess anything up, does anyone recognize the problem ?

-By the way, I have uninstalled/reinstalled the current/older drivers many times as well as tried an assortment of other driver related changes
