I am having an issue with Mafia 1 (not Mafia 2).
(1) The car shadows flicker like crazy. It can get distracting. I use the most up-to-date drivers. There is other flickering going on too, not just the cars. But the car shadows flicker the most.
Here are the settings for the game:
I tried messing with the settings, but no luck.
This is the only game I have experienced this issue with.
(2) Maybe someone can help me out. I do not even know what some of these settings do (Hardware TransformLighting, Multipass Rendering, Clip Always, Disable EAX, Software Mixing Only, Suspend When Inactive). This game might be too old for me to understand its video settings. I tried messing with them, but I notice no difference. But I thought maybe some of them could help with the flickering issue.
(3) Also, is there anyway to zoom the camera view out on foot? I would like to have a camera view similar to the Grand Theft Auto games, where I can see all of my character's body. In Mafia, I only see the chest up. It's too close for my taste.
