Hey guys,
I'm looking to build a computer than can run DotA 2 and other games of the sort. Right now I'm playing DotA on a laptop on all the lowest settings with the following specs:

OS: Windows 8
CPU: AMD A6-4455M 2.1GHz
Memory: 4GB DDR3
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7500G (APU)

So far I have the following for my new build:

Motherboard: BIOSTAR A960D+ AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU: AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor FD4100WMGUSBX

Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Video Card: BFG Tech BFGEGTX2801024E GeForce GTX 280 1GB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16

Power Supply: CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

SSD: Corsair Nova Series 2 CSSD-V30GB2A 2.5" 30GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

The SSD and video card are temporary. I have a laptop so all that I'm initially putting on the SSD are Windows 8 and a couple of games (all of my music, movies, etc., are on my laptop, and that won't change). A friend of mine is selling me the video card for $30.00, I'm aware that it's pretty old. The PSU is leftover from a build I did last year around this time, so changing that is not an option. Also, purchasing that motherboard will result in free RAM, so I'd like to keep that the same as well.

Will this build suffice until I can upgrade the video card and get a larger mechanical drive for more storage? How will I be able to run DotA 2?

My concerns, with the biggest problems first

1) 30 GB SSD won't hold a 64-bit OS
2) pay the extra for a 4300 over a 4100. and if you get the 4300, you might as well get the 6300 for $5-10 more. The 4100 is just a bad processor.
3) 280 is old, hot, and not very good by modern standards. a GTX 650 ti is better, and does Direct X 10 and 11, at 1/3 the power
4) Get an AS Rock 960G-U3S3. you get a few usb3 and sata 3 ports and higher quality construction for just a few bucks more

64-bit Windows 8 only takes up around 20GB. My question about the video card was whether or not it will suffice until I can upgrade. And I will definitely check out the 6300 and AS Rock 960G-U3S3.
