Hi everyone.
I'm using Gigabyte GTX 650 TI 1GB, factory clocked to 1033MHz.
Using EVGA Precision, I've tried to underclock the thing back to standard 650TI core clock, which is 928MHz, in order to diagnose some stability issues. The first tab in GPU-Z now shows core clock at 928MHz. However when I load the video card, the GPU-Z actual current core clock (the value that fluctuates, on the second tab) is showing 1032MHz max.
So it would seem like the underclock is not working. Can anyone provide some insight about this? Is this a common thing, not being able to clock down?
Thank you.
