To answer your question of what cpu you should upgrade to, it depends on your needs.

The i5-3570k is enough for gaming needs but if you're doing something with your PC that requires a lot of processor work like video editing or something like that, then i7-3770k would be a good choice. Both of those have nice overclocking capabilities as well if you're interested in doing that.

Though you might want to do the same as I am and wait a few weeks for the new Haswell processors to come out. That would require a new motherboard though with LGA1150 socket.

Asus' website lists i7-3770k as compatible for your motherboard but not the i5-3550k which seems odd. The chipset H61 should be compatible with Ivy Bridge though.

EDIT: Damn, werner beat me to it. To answer your latest question: yes I would say it's worth to upgrade to i5. But if you can resist getting it right now you could save some $$ if you wait for the Haswell's to arrive like werner said :)

I also forgot to mention im on a tight budget hence the reason why im still sitting on a Sandy Bridge MicroATX board. My Paper round job aint quite cutting it. So will i go with the i5 3570k ? If so will my current cooler Artic Freeze i30 work with it?

I having a look on amazon and there is about a £20 diffrence bettween the two. The only difference between the two is that one is overclockable and one isnt? Also do you get the turbo boost thing in it?

Edit: Bit off topic but would my 4GB of DDR3 Ram be alright for my needs?
