it has 6gb memory DDR3(i think..just searched the internet)
video card installed is RadeonHD 7540d

more details http://us.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/model/DT.GE3AA.0...
all original parts nothing moded...

was gonna ask if what can i do to play games with better graphics without lagging..
almost ok playing but with lowest possible graphics (DOTA 2) to be exact..(try it it's fun)

i want to know the compatibility of of things i can add and or upgrade..
a little low on the budget but can manage...just really really really need to know if how can i know if compatible or not..and how do you know the compatibility,,

.as you can probably see..this is my first computer so a little scared on touching it..

well looking at the specs on the site, the radeon 7540d is a onboard graphic card as it seems and i think you will need a new power supply as the one which came with your pc is 300 watts, you will need atleast 450 watts and a new graphic card which will give you a decent performance, there are many cheap options available rite now, you could just look up on newegg and other sites, most of the low end graphic card would fit into your case, but you will definitely need to upgrade your power supply with the graphic card.

1st of all...thank u very much for ur reply...

really appreciate it..
the real problem is that i don't know which video card are compatible with which PSU and i don't know the same about PSU etiher...its my 1st computer so i'm scared of modding it w/o consultation...

if possible is it okay to ask to give recommendation of which is a good upgrade or replacements...

i know it's too much to ask but i am really gonna appreciate it...!!
(I already appreciate u for helping me though...^_^)

SAPPHIRE 100356OCL Radeon HD 7790 OC 1GB DDR5 PCI-Express Video Card, can look up this card on newegg and power supply COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus RS-550-PCAR-E3 550W ATX12V V2.3, i think those two should be more than sufficient for you. Both of them should cost you around 200$.

yes and what you could do is, just call up the local IT store around your house and just confirm the specs and stuff beforehand, and then either order them for there or from newegg as per your convenience.
