Win8 Can't change login password

I'm trying to change my login password for Windows 8 since someone found out but the option is not available. I go to PC Settings but the User tab is not there. Here's a pic:

Hello olvrsxsmth
Its a Bug and will be solved issue in next version of windows 8
you can try system restore or Re install windows
next version of windows is 8.1 releasing in oct 13

Dude, there isn't any bug. I am using Win 8 Pro. See my PC settings. Users tab is there.

@olvrsxsmth, are you using win 8 pro?

It is local to your machine. I would restore to a time when the problem didnt exist, do a repair install, and if that doesnt work do a clean win 8 install.

You could create another Microsoft Account with a new Hotmail Address and totally different password.. Add that to User Accounts and remove your original...

Thanks for all the help guys. I changed my password by pressing ctrl+alt+del then clicked on change password. I can't believe I never noticed that button after so long xD

Hi All,

I just found the solution (for me) to the problem. I had to run a search for 'Review your computer's status and resolve issues', which brought up the the same within the 'Action Center'. I then clicked on 'resolve password issue' (or similar). I then entered my previous password, and was able to change my password through 'User Accounts' settings.
