I used to own a 5850 and it was a beast of a card. Ran BF3, Witcher 2, Metro 2033, and everything else I threw at it at max settings (Without AA) at 1920x1080. So you cant go wrong with one of those. They also Overclock like crazy. I had mine at 1050mhz core clock (1.05GHz) on stock fans without really even breaking a sweat.

I agree the the 7770 is a decent choice. I had a 5850 AND I have a 560 and the 7770 in MOST games bumps right up against what the 560 can do. For gaming, you can't beat the 7770. I don't know where you live, but I would only go for the other cards if they were less than half of what the 7770 costs.

Where I'm at the 460 and 5850 run just under $80 US and the 7770 is about $100. So unless what you're doing needs 256-bit memory (which 1680x1050 does NOT) then get the newer GPU.

I will edit to note that while I LOVED my 5850, the 460 is a more powerful card when it comes to directX 11 titles, if its the 256 bit flavor and not the 192 bit flavor.

I would say Gigabyte is good. Never had any problems with any of their stuff I bought. I don't know about what kind of warranties are offered in the Pakistan area, but the performance difference between the cheapest ones and the expensive ones will be very little, so get the cheapest card available. :)
