Well I looked at a overclocking guide on overclock3d and I fallowed there instructions step by step but I notice when I have cpu voltage set to manual, it does not stay at what I want it at. For example it says cpu voltage 1.100 and I have it set manually to 1.085. I don't have anything set to auto but I don't know what I'm doing wrong to keep my vcore at what I want it at.

Check Load Line Calibration (LLC)
This setting allows your motherboard to vary the Vcore based on CPU demand. There are usually a few options it can be set to, in this case you would want DISABLE

On a side note, the reason they suggested it (and why most people use it) is that way the vcore isnt higher than necessary when idling (lower temps/ power consumption) but boosts up when needed for stability. If you choose not to use it, just make sure (as with any overclock) that you are 100% stable with whatever vcore you go with

Yeah I just noticed there's no disable, I'll give it a try right now as I'm stress testing my cpu, its at 4.3ghz with a vcore of 1.120. I set it manually right now to 1.105 but on cpu-z and occt it has 1.120. I'll set it to high after the test is done. I'm using a asus maximus v formula by the way.

Is there an option to the effect of "Additional Turbo Voltage"? Because if you have that set to a certain number, your vcore will raise at load.

It would help to know your mobo so we know what certain settings are called.
