Ram appears as 1333 instead of 1600

What's your cpu? If it's a sandy bridge (2***), the reason the ram is running at 1333 is because that the memory controller on die only supports up to 1333 without overclocking.

As said above, even if this is the case you should be able to go into the bios and enable the 1600 xmp profile
