well the 6350 is a higher clocked 6300 so compare the 6300 against the 965 and gives u ur answer, but i would say the 6350 is better than the 965 for its higher core count, higher clock speed and the fact that piledriver is better and a upgrade from phenom IIs unlike bulldozer lol

Thanks for the quick response.

Yeah I figure it was an upgrade. I just order it but i just wasn't quite sure if it was a big enough upgrade. I plan on live streaming and and recording games.

The AMD FX 6300 is faster than the AMD Phenom II X4 965BE overall (and in games). Of course there is a 100MHz difference to take into account (3.5 vs. 3.4GHz)

That being said a 6350 is clocked even higher than 3.5GHz. So yeah a 6350 is definitely faster than a 965BE. I've heard people claim that they can play BF3 on Ultra settings and livestream at the same time (with the 6300) though that could be people bulling others.

Seems to me that it would be a nice upgrade.

Yeah I thought that it should be good for live streaming since most games only use 4 core or less. So i would have 2 extra cores. I have 5mb upload speed so as far as my internet i should be good. my current phenom ii 965 stays around 90% usage on bf3 on a 64 player game. So livestreaming on that is out of the question. I do have a 212 evo cooler so overclocking is always an option.
