Build advice/compatibility check

since I've been a lurker for awhile I've decided to make my 1st post.
So recently i wanted to build my first gaming PC since i'm sick of console gaming and this is what i have decided
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 OC with Boost 3GB
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB
STORAGE: Samsung 840 Series Pro 256GB 2.5 inch SATA Solid State Drive
MOTHERBOARD: ASRockZ77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard
CASE: Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl w/ USB 3.0 ATX Mid Tower Silent PC Computer Case (comes with 2 silent series r2 fans 7max ports)
• 1 - Front hydraulic bearing 140mm Silent Series R2 fan, 1000 RPM speed (included)
• 1 - Front 120/140mm fan
• 1 - Rear hydraulic bearing 140mm Silent Series R2 fan, 1000 RPM speed (included)
• 2 - Top 120/140mm fans - positions also support some models of 240 radiators, depending on configuration
• 1 - Bottom 120/140mm fan
• 1 - Side 140mm fan
• 1 - Integrated fan controller for up to 3 fans (included)
FAN: To be decided
PSU: To be decided
keep in mind i have a budget of $1600. I am open to suggestions, and different parts than what i have. If its not to much please check for compatibility.
Thanks :)

  1. Hello I was just wondering something real quick? Can you jump up 100 to 150 dollars in price? If so I have the build for you. Its 2000 then subtract the 260 dollar monitor for 1740. Here is a link to the build for you it's all compatible if you still want then I'll chck your build for sure.

It is practically for pure power, if you ever want a second monitor then you are perfect. It is future proofed and can crush anything. Plus the SSD will provide even more supreme speed.
  6. wrong
    Wait for haswell,
    Need monitor ?

Want to get tripple screen setup?

I get waitng for haswell but that greatly changes a build, Getting triple monitors becomes pointless once the rarity runs dry.
