Okay, I recently installed a new graphics card for my pretty crappy computer the graphics card was a Geforce 610. I knew how to install a graphics card so I deleted the drivers for my old graphics got rid of anything that was part of the old graphics card and then finally installed the new graphics card. well it fit perfectly into the pci slots then I turned on my PC and it worked I put in the disk installed any drivers necessary for the card and I was done but their was a problem, it had trouble installing the very new drivers from nvidia so I just let it be since it wasn't really a major problem, but then since the graphics card is 1080p compatible, I switched to 1080p resolution(Just to let you know my monitor is 1080p compatible as well.) well the screen was really jittery and the resolution looked like crap so I switched it back to my monitors native resolution 1920x1200 which worked perfectly so I didn't pay attention to it. But after a while I started to see my monitor fail it kept flickering on and off and sometimes when I booted my PC the monitor would not turn on so I would turn it on manually but the monitor would say signal lost and it said no HD cable connected or Vga connected, when I did in fact have my Hdmi cable connected. I've already tried replacing my HD cable, still happens i switched to Vga still didn't get anything. So I was thinking it might be the graphics because none of these problems occurred when I had my old graphics card. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
