New Build, very specific usage and I have questions.

I've searched this forum and found a few great builds for WoW @ ulta settings but I would like to take it a step further adding 3 Monitors. One for steaming Netflix, one for the game and one for a browser.

Flexible with my budget but I would like $1700 to $2000 (Including three ~22"ish monitors.) Not sure about resolution parameters, I would just like them to preform well for moving watching and WoW playing @ the best of settings, at the same time. =)

I have nothing but a mouse, keyboard and a set of good 5.1 speakers. Currently using a 13" Mac pro and I would really like to upgrade to a PC desktop.

If I have presented too much of an open build it is understandable, but I do have some questions.

My Questions:
- What things would a 3 monitor set-up require to preform well for my planned usage? Multiple Gpu?, Lots of RAM?
- Should I go with a specific type of Cpu? how many cores? AMD vs. Intel?
- What speed & Size of RAM would I best be suited with if I plan on Steaming Netflix and Playing / searching at the same time?

I live a mile from a huge electronics store - http://www.frys.com/

Thanks for checking my post.

Intel for wow as its cpu intensive at times and an amd cpu will bottleneck you depending where you are in the game. Id suggest an i5 3570k, and becuase your running so much at once 16gb cant hurt although 8gb would suffice, 1600mhz is the standard anything higher shows minimal results. If your going mutli gpu i would recommend sli 670's that will tear through any game known to man at the highest settings and supourt 3 moniters with ease

Thanks Firo40, your Info Helps Me Out Greatly. I'm Going To Leave This Thread Unsolved For The Rest Of The Day To Alow Anyone Else To Add Their 2 Cents.

One Cool Cow, I Don' Plan On Playing WoW On More than One Monitor.

With that budget, you'd better get a mechanical keyboard.

Also, why settle for 3 monitors, if you can have 1 at a resolution of 2560 x 1440?

Or even a few of those perhaps. Maybe you should also just get a GTX Titan

while you're at it. Huge single-GPU performance. You might run into trouble with

SLI in some games, as it's driver dependent. Not that SLI GTX 670s is bad or anything.

Aslong as he keeps his sli profile updated and drivers current there wont be any issues with wow on an sli configuration its not a new game. Usually new games have issues with sli because they don't have a good sli profile or drivers to support it yet

Thanks X79, I Don't Have Much Diversity When It Comes To Gaming. As For The Screen Set Up Im The Type Who Doesnt Like My Peas To Touch My Carrots At Dinner, 3 Monitors Just Sounds So Glorious!
