That depends. I'm a big fan of Windows 8 and want to see it adopted, although in some cases, downgrading back to Windows 7 is the better option. Are you having a particular problem under Windows 8?

For example, do you have an application or piece of hardware that no longer works under 8 that did under Windows 7 but is mission critical to something you're doing? Have you tried Googling to see if there are any workarounds to make this piece of software or hardware work? Or is there some other problem you are encountering?

Let us know a bit more about what's going on and we will see if we can help.

I don't have any Problems with it like with the hardware or anything, but I am quite disapointed with it though. :(

Before you go downgrading, give a few of the tweaks and tips a shot in Windows 8.
The_Prophecy has some great pointers in getting started in his Windows 8 Guide found here:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/16-73-windows-guide-l...

And you can find a big pile of usability improvement type items in the Tutorials list found here:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1660654/windows-tu...

Read through a few of those, and see if you can bring Windows 8 to where you are comfortable enough with it. If you don't like it, you can find a How-To downgrade in the Windows 8 Tutorials listing as well. Hope this helps!

Join the club. I downgraded back to 7 finding 8 over bloated with an interface that is retarded. Honestly 8 is fine if you have a touch screen tablet. Microsoft is running out of ideas to make money. 7 was just fine. 8 reminds me of Windows Me. Perhaps 9 will be something amazing?

i used this free software and disabled the metro interface, now my window 8 looks like 7...presto

Then why not use Windows 7? :-P
I know, you'll tell me about the upgrades between windows 7 and 8, and I'll reply with compatibility and such. But the fact that I'd have to use 3rd-parties programs to have a Windows that I like, it's just awkward... don't you think?

Edit: Forgot to answer you, DrCoconuts: I'm doing a back up my computer at this very moment, will format my PC and return from Windows 8 to Seven (although I could just put Windows 7 and erase 8, I'm taking this opportunity to cleanup my computer. I just hope that I won't forget to back up game saves and Firefox/Thunderbird/software's parameters!) So I think that you know what my anser is ;-)
