Hey guys, quick question. I have a desktop that needs to backup large amounts of data on a weekly basis to a home "server"
Both computers are running win7 pro. Currently I can use fash FXP to transfer everything back and forth but what I dont have is something that will automate the process.
I need something that will keep both computers synced/mirrored. Is there any free software that can handle this? I am willing to pay for outstanding software as well.
Something that will replace files with an older time stamp and delete files/folders that no longer exist on the client computer is exactly what I am after. Right now I am manually transferring files and deleting what is no longer needed. Sometimes I get lost and end up formatting the server drive and just copying 500+ GB of data to get both drives back in sync. Its very inefficient because a bulk of my files do not change and do not require to be overwritten on a weakly basis (music library, movies, etc)
If anyone has any ideas, that would be great.
Thanks
