Odd post with new graphics card wont work

Hello

Unfortunately I need some help
I recently bought a Radeon HD7970 except when I have installed it into my computer and I try to startup, the post just flickers for a fraction of a second and then it goes straight to a blank screen that only displays '_0' in the bottom right corner, it also beeps when I press anything on the keyboard.

I was using a gt 610 beforehand and it seemed to work fine, was a little slow to startup but it worked

Anyone know what the issue is?

it could be your power supply or your motherboard. it could be your power supply since it is not supplying power properly. it could be just that your motherboard is failing, did you tried booting up again with gt 610 and did it worked??? what power supply do you have in your pc atm, is it enough to support a hd 7970.

It works with the gt 610 though just not the 7970

CoolerMaster GX 750W PSU, do you think thats enough power for the card?
Thats what I have at the moment

its more than enough for hd 7970, try running the card on a different port of the motherboard, well try using that card on your friends system if thats possible, to figure out if your card is faulty, you could rma your card if its so.
