two of them to be precise. (TLDR it says it works with eyefinity, and amd graphics cards, and hd)
However, After receiving (one, sigh) of them today I found that when I used this adapter between the hdmi and mini dp input on my graphics card, There was a drop in resolution from 1920x1080p to 1920x420 when I set up eyefinity.
I tried using just ONE monitor with this adapter and found that it still lowered my resolution to that pixelated mess.
So, before I rip my hair out, which adapter do i need. According to the amd website the only compatible mini dp to hdmi active adapter is this:
Adapts: Mini DisplayPort™ To: HDMI (Active Adapter)
Manufacturer Part Number Firmware Max. Resolution Purchase
Bizlink KS30047 0x08 4096x2160
However, I can find no link to buy this item online whatsoever.
CAN I RUN MINIDISPLAYPORT TO DVI...AND THEN USE DVI TO HDMI? WILL THIS SLOW PERFORMANCE ETC?
can i risk buying ANOTHER active mini dp to hdmi not listed on their website, and expect it to work?
